Menopause isn't a one-size-fits-all experience, yet for far too long, we've talked about it as if it is.
Women of color can experience the menopause transition differently, and those differences exist alongside cultural expectations, family dynamics, access to care, and the very real experience of not always being heard or represented in conversations about women's health.
This session creates space for the menopause conversation we've been missing. Together, we'll explore how race, culture, community, and healthcare can intersect during this transition, why some women's symptoms and experiences have historically been overlooked, and what it looks like to create better conversations, better advocacy, and better support.
Because every woman deserves to recognize herself in the menopause conversation, and no one should have to navigate this chapter wondering why her experience doesn't look like the one she's been told to expect.
