Credentials:

Mimi is a Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of healthcare experience and a special interest in women's hair restoration, skin rejuvenation and body contouring during perimenopause and menopause. Her passion for hair restoration is personal. After experiencing hair loss herself, she began searching for solutions that went beyond simply treating thinning hair. That journey inspired RegenaNu Clinique and her interest in understanding the hormonal, cellular, and age related changes that can contribute to hair loss and skin and body changes in women. Today, Mimi combines her clinical experience with regenerative medicine, hormone optimization, peptides, hair-restoration therapies and advanced skin and body aesthetics to create individualized treatment plans designed to support and improve a woman’s well-being.
Why are you passionate about helping women through perimenopause and menopause?
I am passionate because I understand how deeply these changes can affect how we feel, look and see ourselves. My own experience with hair loss inspired my journey into regenerative medicine. My goal is to give women personalized options to help them navigate this transition feeling supported, confident, and empowered.
Who is the ideal woman you serve?
My ideal woman is one who may be experiencing hair shedding and loss along with changes in skin and body composition. This woman is seeking a more regenerative approach to help her feel healthier, more confident and empowered through this life changing journey.
What concerns do women most commonly come to you for?
Women come to me because they know something is changing but maybe they can’t quite put their finger on it. They have noticed more hair in their brush or on their pillow. Their skin texture is changing with more fine lines, wrinkles, dryness and laxity and their body is developing fat issues in new areas. They want answers, they a want of plan of attack and they want and need help.
What makes your approach unique?
My approach involves looking at the whole woman, not just one symptom. By combining laboratory data, personal and familial medical histories, work and home lifestyles, nutrition and stress contributors you are able to begin to build a more concise plan of how to be able to help and support this woman.
What is one thing you wish every woman knew about perimenopause or menopause?
Knowing that perimenopause and menopause are natural transitions that every woman will experience, I would encourage women to begin discussing these changes before the first symptoms appear. By starting the conversation earlier, understanding what changes to look for, and exploring supportive options when symptoms first appear, we can be proactive rather than reactive and help prevent these changes from having such a profound impact on a woman’s quality of life.
What should someone expect when working with you?
First and foremost, I will listen with understanding and compassion. Perimenopause and menopause aren’t something we simply “fix”, they’re a journey, and every woman’s experience is different. Together, we’ll discuss your concerns, explore your options, create a personalized plan, and adjust it as your needs change. Most importantly, I’ll be there to support and guide you throughout the journey with when necessary an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold.
What is the best first step for someone who wants to connect with you?
The first step is scheduling a consultation. At that time, we’ll simply start the conversation with what you have been experiencing, understanding your concerns and answering your questions. I know it can be frustrating when you don’t feel like yourself and aren’t sure why, but we are here to help.
